Grab a good cup at GrabCafé
The Philippines as we know today has a very strong coffee culture. It’s embedded mostly in our daily lives to grab a cup of coffee to survive the daily grind. It’s similar to a small pocket of bliss just to recharge and reward ourselves.
Happy to see Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading on-demand transportation and mobile payments platform, decided to putup GrabCafé, a place where loyal users of the app can share delightful experiences and have a better appreciation for specialty coffee. Best part, it’s redeemable thru points accumulated from rides. Partnering with homegrown coffee heroes such as Yardstick, El Union Coffee, & And Then is such a great initiative. Seriously, a coming together of these folks is like a dream for the coffee industry.
But what can we actually look forward with GrabCafé?
1. They’ll be serving three kinds of specialty coffee station in one. There’s even a very strong coffee Soft serve to beat the early summer heat!
2. Grab blends are available to take home from the same homegrown coffee brands.
3. Limited edition merchandise from grab you can shop at the GrabCafé.
4. Planned Themed Nights at GrabCafé. The pop-up is set to run until the 11th of March. From Cabaret Theatre (March 6) toIn the Loop which will happen on March 7. There’s even Throwback Tunesday( March 9) to celebrate a lit Friday night and so much more throughout the weekend.
How does it work?
If you’re a grab user like me, we only need 1000 points to recharge with a filling cup crafted by these coffee brands. Points can also be used to avail of limited edition items like shirts, mugs, tumblers, ecobags, and specialty coffee beans. Check your grab rewards and see what’s available. I’ve also heard Grab Pay will also be available. Hey, I wouldn’t mind paying for a horchata from the guys of El Union! It’s very rare to see them. I’ll probably grab my chance when I’m in the area again this week!
